I have never done it, but to be honest, I have thought about it before. For example, I needed a dress suit to wear to court. I spent $80 on this suit knowing that I would never wear it again, and that sucks. I considered hiding the tags up in the sleeves, etc. but I couldn't bring myself to do it, and I'm glad now that I didn't. It would have bothered me a lot, but hey, you made a mistake and learned something from it. Move on :)

Never done that. i love the clothes i buy too much to return them.
In fact, i buy really nice outfits and then never have anywhere to wear them so they just sit there.
I think there was a desperate housewives where someone did that. She totally got caught, too! there was a tag sticking out of her jacket.

Someone else who thought they were getting a new outfit, actually bought a used one, while you got back your cost. That's just messed up, what if someone spent money they did not have to impress a man they wanted and they ended up buying your used item didn't see a flaw you might have caused and now sitting at home eating ho ho's because OF YOU....You aught to be a shamed.

No, if I ever wear it, I keep it. Most places I know will not take something back without the tags. That is not a good practice to start.

I do remember that for my prompt I'd rented this tuxedo that I'd wear all night dancing, hanging around, went to the beach with friends and, that was on Saturday to Sunday, back those days my mom had this laundry, she cleaned it up and I returned it and told them I couldn't it use it due a family matter and they didn't charge anything, but I haven't done it again.

No...although once I had to take back a cocktail gown that I have worn because the store clerk forgot to take the sensor off. The worst part was I did not notice it was still there until the actual night of the party! I had to pin it so it wouldn't show.

yeah. but only once. I bought a dress, but I didn't like it. I didn't have time to go buy another so I wore it. Next day I returned it.

You a blonde? You wonder why prices keep going up? 'cause of idiot thoughtless people like you. You sure haven't thought that the stores have to increase prices to everyone to cover the cost.
