How smart is Micheal Waltrip to go to Toyota Racing and get full sponsorship and support?

It worked out with the toyota deal, although I don't know if that was part of his plan. He said he' donly stay if he could keep Tony Eury Jr. as his crew chief, which there's no way they'd give him pick over Dale Jr, so maybe he did plan it out that way. Just had to sacrifice 1 year of horrible racing. I like him, but don't think he's that great of a driver, just think he had awesome cars at DEI when he was successful there.

MICHAEL WALTRIP is DUMB period.

Hes such a moron I hate him. Like, seriously, cut your hair man. Has that man ever won a race? Has that man ever even FINISHED a race? My dead aunt can drive a car better than him.

*time to hang up your hat and driving suit, michael, and go teach some kids about Napa products*

Mikey did Not have a choice. He whined until he got Junior's crew-he said if he had what Junior had he could win races. They did -he still looked bad. DEI got rid of him. People think Mikey is goody goody two shoes nicey family man etc but he is quite the opposite. He is really good at acting though his Sponsors Love him.

well, i really don't think anyone can say what mikey did was stupid. he left b/c he didn't feel right there..and if you don't feel right in a team it's just not a good place to be.. and that's all there is to it.. we can all say now why are you going to leave an established team and blah blah blah.. but like i said.. it all comes down to chemistry.. if you don't have the magic that works it doesn't matter what team it's for.. the richest or not. it's just not a good place to be.

I think it is the smartest thing. He will be the team owner for a 3 car team. DEI- 2 car team. He will have at least 1 former champ on his team.DEI-o . Mega sponsership-UPS,NAPA and Burger King. Dumb .....NOT

Insanely smart considering he'll get FULL support from Toyota rather than second-string with DEI or Bill Davis.
