You tell the judge what is going on, he is up for a big surprise, believe me. His employer is in hot water he is in even hotter water, that is called fraud, he probably lose unemployment, get fined and end up in jail if the judge decide that he has to pay the $500 right away. you have him in your little soft sweet hands, The child support won't get lowered because he lost his job, he has a responsibility until the child is 18

You go to Guardian ad lidam (not sure how to spell it) and they are on the womans side 200% My fience did not have a job for a second and still had to pay child support and not even the minimum. Just bring everything to the judges attention, they always take the womans thoughts into consideration. Just dont take advantage of the system. If he is trying to see or do for his child let him, if he is a fit father. B/c keeping your child away from them father b/c child support is ONLY hurting the child. I know of too many instances where that would be the case. And that isnt right for the child.

the first thing you do is call or stop by your local Wage and Hour Department. It is usually found in the same building as your Job Center or Unemployment office. TRUST ME ON THIS! They are there to help you report false wages!
Then....after that, worry about the child support part.
Tell the judge exactly what you told us, but be ready to prove it. DO NOT say um, uh, I dunno, swear words, or cry in court. Be a firm strong Mom, and keep your ground.
If it gets lowered, dont fret, he cant go on living without a decent job, can he?

If you have a lawyer, have her answer the petition. If not, be prepared to back up your assertions in court. If all else fails, request that he be ordered to pay the back support & make up the difference in the lowered support when he becomes employed.

If you can prove he is getting paid under the table to avoid paying child support, report it, right now. Make sure you go to the court date and speak your piece, have hard evidence on paper of how much he owes and how much he makes. The more you can prove, the better your case is and the more of a chance to have to collect. Keep in mind, he can quit his job and their only recourse is to put him in jail, in which case you get nada.

talk to your lawyer, tell him about the under table pay, get the court to look into the banking of the place he works, and his bank records, have a PI follow him and document he is working.

video of him going to work and let your lawyer know what is going on. The money he is behind will just keep adding up and he will have to pay even more.

Depends on your state laws, usually they still have to pay even when unemployed. If he is committing fraud it is a crime and you need to tell your lawyer and district attorneys office. Tell the judge at court.

IF YOU HAVE PROOF OF HIM WORKING GET IT . ALSO CONTACT THE IRS AND TURN IN HIS EMPLOYER. HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHILD TOO , ALSO TELL HIM HE QUIT SO HE DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT . THEY WILL ATTACH HIS WAGES UNTIL HE IS 80 AND PAID UP .. TRUST ME , HE IS NOT GOING TO GET AWAY WITH IT ! ANY TIME HE GETS A JOB THEY WILL ATTACHE THE WAGE .
