When the penis sticks up, it means that it has Hardened
so that way it is easier for the penis to go into the vagina.

Either your foreskin is too tight and is pinching the nerves, or you're suffering from a slight case of priapism (where the penis gets stuck in erection and can be painful). Go and see your doctor!
