You probalbly doesn't need except an antivirus You may download one at http:\\www.grisoft.com .

If it was an adware just download ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.com

If it was a spyware download : Ewido http://www.ewido.com
or spybot search and destroy from http://www.safernetworking.com

To prevent future viruses downloaded a powerful firewall like zonealarm or u might turn on ur windows firewall if u were using windows xp Open control panel,Windows firewall, and turn it on.

If neither of these programs help u try to search symantec virus encyclopedia for ur virus http://www.symantec.com.

.
Go to Avast.com http://avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
run their virus scan
Download their FREE home version
Let it run on your computer all the time.

When it tells you what virus you've have, let it delete the virus, and then run the utility again.
Set the Avast anti-virus utiltiy to run ALL the time.
Stay away from downloading at LimeWare and other site where you download from other peoples computers.

Anytime Avast tells you that you have encountered a virus or trojan, let it delete the mal-ware right then and there.

well to answer your question. it really depends on the Virus definitions you have so that your Antivirus program can get rid of it automatically. if your security doesnt work then it more then likely expired for that purpose i would recommend either McAfee or Norton or AVG.

hi, there maybe something wrong with your IE.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
