I know the dodge is a top post does it have side posts too? The car is on the other side of town right now. Do you have any idea and if it isn't what do I do now because I'm buying a 93 chevy cav. and it needs a battery. How much will a battery cost me for that?

yes as long as it fits and doesnt short out on anything but it may not be the "right" battery for the car

Look, go to someplace like Wal-Mart or another place that sells batteries and has a car/battery matching list. If your battery has the correct power, you can purchase side post adapters and off you go. Its no big deal. Good Luck Mark

As long as it fits there is no reason it wont work. A good battery will be at least 60 bucks.

If it fits and has the same required cranking amps, then yes. Assuming that this is true then you should also ensure that both batteries attach the same way (stud mount versus bolt mount).

Just make sure the posts don't short out on the hood when you shut it.

No. Shop at Walmart, if you have one close by. They are by far the cheapest.
