Sometimes. I try my best to be tolerant, but sometimes I just lose it.

I know how you feel - but as time moves on for you - you will become more patience and realize that you will be blessed IF you live to be that old. Yes, age does carry wisdom - if you've lived your life learning as you go along - and learning from your mistakes. I know it may be hard - but, just take 30 mins and have a talk with an older and wise person and LISTEN to what they're saying to you. My mom is celebrating her 84th birthday tomorrow. She has aged over the last 20 years - greatly. I took her to the grocery store about 3 weeks ago - I don't rush her. I was at the end of an isle that we both were on and I just stopped and watched her for about 2 mins. I saw how she had aged from how my minds wants to remember her. And yes, I see how she moves slower, how she may get a little confused about things, how she may have to repeat her statements or questions. But, I have a great deal of respect for her because she does live on her own, she still walks by herself - with the help of a cane, she cooks, still cleans her house, keeps herself up, reads and keeps up on current events. I can only hope that my life is as full and I have my mind and the Lord should allow me to live to be 84 and in decent health - that's a blessing. Just try to practice a little patience.

I are one, You know why old people drive slow? I'll tell you, it's the ODDS; After 40 years of hearing/seeing things about stuff in the road like engine blocks, couches, dumpsters and black cows on a rainy night you begin to think odds are getting good that it will happen to you! And you will get old, Suffer!

No, I don't walk slowly, drive slowly; smell; nor am I annoying (at least not to the degree that you are). I'm sure I DO know more than you. I know better than to insult someone because they are older than I. You probably won't get old - someone will see to that!

Only when they're really rude and nasty. Then again, that pretty much goes for everyone.

And careful what you wish for - you grow older every day and if you keep wishing that, it'll eventually come true. Unless, of course, you feel like dying tomorrow.

There is one who pursues you. He cannot be defeated. You cannot out run him. His pursuit is relentless, without pity, without remorse and absolutely no regret.

Who? Time, of course. Someday you too will be the age of those you hate and there will be someone that is the age you are now and they will be expressing the same sentiments you have expressed and those sentiments will be directed at you.

No. I don't hate old people. I am 30 now, and I find that I hate young people more these days. They all have ADD and can't pay attention to anything that lasts more than 3 minutes.
Thanks MTV.

As my grandmother once said to me, "Keep living, before you know it one day you are going to look into the mirror to find an old person staring back at you."

I'll bet you won't hate them when you're one of them. Unless you're planning to die before you get old.

you would pray to get as geniune as an older adult. i love them. they do have wisdom because they have been here longer than you apparently, and they are set in there ways. to be old is a treasure and a blessing. the only way of getting out of getting older is dying. try listening to one one day.without optimism. you could learn alot.
