Just moved into the collins county portion of Dallas near Plano. I'm looking for a flytrap to add to my apartment's flora, and prevent the habitation of any unwanted fauna!

They will be available at almost any retailer that sells houseplants. A Yahoo search for "growing venus flytraps" (include the quotation marks) yields 187 results. If you do the same search, exploring just some of the first ten results will tell you all you need to know about raising them.

Good luck with your search for information.

There's a Calloway's on Preston Road. You might be able to have them get you one. Or try a florist Flytraps don't do well in Texas, it's too hot and dry.

A home and garden store near you would have plants, maybe Home Depot or Scotts....or you could order online as I think Burpee carries them too.
