San Diego may win The NL West. But no way do they win The NL Pennant.
And Jesus doesnt need that property in San Diego. He has The Kingdom of Heaven.

They might win the NL West, but now that the Dodgers picked up Maddux, along with Betemit and other quality players, they will get some good competition for the division title. There are too many stronger teams in the NL for them to win the NL pennant (Mets, Cardinals, Reds, mainly).

NL West maybe, unless someone else makes a move. NL Champs, hahahaha. I am laughing too hard.
Jesus buying property in San Diego? No, maybe Jerusalem, but not San Diego.

I think if the Rockies start to play like they did at the beginning of the season, they'll win the West, but the Mets are gonna win the NL pennant

San Diego isn't going to win the West. If fricken Armando Benitez didn't blow 8 saves this season, the Giants would be in front. I'm thinking the Giants will rally and take 1st place away from San Diego. Sandiego is only 5 over .500 so.. anything is possible.

no the NL west sucks really badly this year (like it always does) so they would have to catch up 2 the amazin' mets, who are 13.5 games ahead. so no, there is probably no chance of the Padres doing anything this year

NL West? Yes. NL Pennant? Unlikely thanks to the Cardinals and Mets.
Hell, they may not even beat the Wild Card recipient and that could be the Reds
