where are some places you could work as an accountant? i am looking for more of a relaxed place with a smart casual dress code, not a fast-paced place where you have to wear a suit every day. if possible, give names of companies. working at home is not an option.

this is very common in high technology corporations. i was a financial analyst in the world's largest semiconductor company and we were all casually dressed. even a VP would wear a ripped shirt.

Once you've worked in retail you can work in any store. If you're good with customer service try and find one that adds a commission to the base salary. If you're looking to move away from retail you could try getting a job at a large chain grocery store. This might mean being a bagger first, but if you do get a job as a checker you'll be in a union with great benefits and pay raises. Having cashiering experience you can try applying to a bank, credit union or savings and loan. Getting out of the money aspect, receptionist is an option. If you have big companies near you, customer service representative in a call center. Good luck!

You have asked this question more than once and others gave you good answers. You need to conduct your own job search.
