Here's what I heard of about boob implants and what happened to women that had it done:
-If they get infected then they rot (gangreen).
-I saw this thing on "Vanity Insanity". Anyway, your boobs are supossed to go down a bit after a couple of days after the surgery. So, this woman had it done, one of them whent down to the regular height, while the other stayed up. The doctors told her it wasn't a problem. Anywho, the boob with the lowering problem started to lose the implant from the bottom of her boob. And she only got to take them out a year later when the surgens would see her again. Seeing as it was on one of those "make ugly women beautiful" show.
So, is it really worth it? Going under the knife just to get a bigger breast size? Wear a padded bra, much safer.

Had mine 15 years now, they are silicone and they look great. I was an 32A cup went to a 36C. They looked pretty fake at first but now they look real. No one ever guesses they are implants.
I would never say it was the best thing I've ever done, I sorta wish I hadn't done it now that I'm older. Don't really need them and as I've gotten older and had kids and breastfed, they got larger anyway so now they are 38DD's!
Most people don't really how sore you get when you have cosmetic surgery. You are really, really bruised and sore. And it's very expensive.

Well first of all... ? If you are a C cup ior larger you really don't need it. I think that Silicone-Gel filled implants are the best, they look more natural than any others. Go to the website at the bottom here for more info!

Hmmm... wouldn't you have to replace the implants every 5 to 10 years?...
Imagine the scars! But then again, your choice.
