When he was traded from the Braves, opinion was 50/50 whether he would go into the Hall of Fame as a Brave or a Cub. Now that his tenure with the Cubs stinks, shouldn't he be a Brave?

Since the Hall selects the team (see the recent Bruce Sutter situation) I'm guessing they'll have him in a Braves cap. That's where the bulk of his success has been. As a Cubs fan I'm sad to see him go (again). He's a true competitor and one of the best pitchers of our age.

He wasn't traded from the Braves - he signed with the Cubs as a free agent. At that time, he said something to the effect that he never wanted to leave and his heart was always with the Cubs. His plaque in Cooperstown will show him in a Cubs cap - and that's also where he got win No. 300 and Strikeout No. 3,000. Just stands to reason, once a Cub at heart, always a Cub at heart. As a Braves fan, I'd like to see him in as a Brave, but doubt that will happen.

Has to be the Braves. He won a ring w/ the Braves and three of his four straight Cy Young awards. The Hall of Fame will decide for him, so he would almost have to go in as a Brave considering the above.

I think he will be a Brave when he goes into the hall. He got the most victories as one. I agree his stint with the cubs sucked to be honest. He has to stop after this year cause it is just all down from here and you can tell.

He will go in as a Brave. There was never any chance he'd go in as a Cub, except in the minds of the delusional Cub fans.

He was more dominating with the Braves. I say Braves, but it is up to the Hall to decide that one.

You're kidding right? His best years and his only WS victory was with Atlanta. It would be a slap in the face to go in as anything other than a Brave.

He'll go in as a Brave. His most dominating years came at a time when he was on a dominating team.

He'll go in as a Brave. That's where he won a world series and he was in the prime of his career as well.
