It's okay, it's just the time when you are getting your morning sickness, and No, it doesn't have to be in the morning. It will pass, usually by the second trimester, or even before. When I was pregnant I was queasy for much of the day and couldn't eat much. It would get worse in the evening, then at about 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. I would finally get hungry. So that's when I would eat. During my lunch break I would get some kind of mild broth or soup to sip on. Don't worry, you won't have a miscarraige from not eating, but try the soup or broth thing. And when you do get hungry, go ahead and eat, even it if is in the middle of the night. Congrats on your pregnancy.

Don't worry, you don't have to eat extra food early on in your pregnancy, in fact, your appetite will kind of guide you (within reason). Early in pregnancy most women aren't very hungry, and will often have aversions to foods they normally enjoy. It's later in the pregnancy that women are usually hungrier and crave certain foods. That's also when you are supposed to gain the most weight. You don't want to start gaining much weight now.
Usually by about 9-12 weeks you will be feeling better. In the mean time, try eating very small meals more often throughout the day. A few crackers and a piece of cheese were always a good choice for me. The crackers help settle your stomach and the cheese helps fill you up. A piece of toast and some cottage cheese will work the same way. Maybe a 1/2 cup of fruit with some whipped cream for a snack.
Think small portions and try putting a protein (egg, cheese, meat, cream, beans, etc.) with some other food (crackers, toast, fruit, oatmeal, etc.). It's good to go ahead and eat (just a small amount) for the sake of the baby. Also, be sure that you are taking your vitamins. If they make you sick, try taking them before you go to bed, or splitting up the vitamins throughout the day. Congrats.

Well it could be in your mind actually. Not to make you sound mental but you may have heard about alot of women getting morning sickness and nausea. These things stay in your mind and can come to the surface when you are in the same situation. Try eating smaller meals throughout the day.
If this continues being a problem talk to your doctor about things you can try to over come this.
On another note there may be days in your pregnancy where you dont feel like eating. Do not be alarmed. It wont hurt the baby if you skip a meal or two. It will however, make you feel more tired than you normally would. You dont have to eat for two Hon. You eat what you need and the baby will take what it needs from you.
Good Luck!

Its normal to have a loss of appetite. The only time you need to be concerned is if you don't eat at all. Small nibbles on things is fine. You will get a normal appetite again. Your body will let you know what it wants and when it is hungry. When you get your vitamin's from the doctor that will help allot and if you don't drink allot of milk eat 2 cherry Rolaids a day that way you will still get your calcium.
