I have been trying ta get my boyfriend to let us have another baby but he said its to soon. My son will be one in a week. What do u guys think?

It is not to soon if you can handle having 2 little ones that close together in age. Lots of people do and it works great for them.

That would make the kids about 1 1/2 years apart and that ism't that close of an age. So no I don't think it is too soon to have another baby, however it doesn't matter what we think here on "Yahoo Answers". It depends on what you and your boyfriend decide. Wait! Your baby needs to be an only child for a bit longer. Years ago my doctor told me to space my kids three years and that is what I did and it was perfect. When your baby is nearly three, then he will be ready for more independence and not resent the new sibling and you will have more time to devote to the second child.
My kids are now 20 and 17 and they also get along quite well. When you have kids close in age they fight more.
Did you say boyfriend? DO NOT HAVE another baby until he is your husband and you are totally committed to each other and your child.

ok i work with kids so i see some kids that are very close to each other.
in my opinion.. i think that you should wait a little bit.. bc the child is at the age where mommy is their world. and they do tend to get jelous..actually today at work.. there was a 2 year old throwing a huge fit and being difficult and the mom is due in a couple of weeks.. this is common!! so be prepared if u want to have another kid!

No that's not to soon.
I did it that way with my and it was wonderful timeing I say.
All of our kids are about two yr's apart and we have six of them,HEE HEE.
By the time you get pg and have the new one it will be almost time for the other one to be going to the bathroom by his or her self,our's did.
It worked out very well for us.
That's good you want another one.
I would do it again all over if I could,I love kids.

Wait 3 to 6 months, that way when your second child is born, your current child will be 2 or older.

wait a few years ...get to know your son and have fun with him..then when he is like 3 or 4 have another

i think you should wait and enjoy your son you have now. you still have time to have another baby. don't rush it.
