I would try my best not to but you can never tell when love can strike. Dating can lead to a serious relationship and that's when the trouble really begins. The idea of sitting at home and waiting for the phone to ring when you know he is on a dangerous assignment would be more than I could take. And just the daily dangers of being a cop would make me die a little everyday as I watch him leave for work.

I am an officer of the Law well only just started - I would have no problem dating another fellow officer as we are only human and feel the same as everyone else ???
I dont know why there is so much stigma attached to dating coppers the majority of us want to just make a difference and help out our community.
My B/f infact I think quite likes the idea of me being an officer however he does worry that I will get hurt in the line of duty.
Is that what you are worried about ??

My ex boyfriend was a violent b*stard and he became a cop. But one of my best girlfriends is a cop and my sister is a prison guard, but both of them are mean mean mean when they are working, sometimes bringing that aggression home.

If I wasn't married, maybe. I like cops, as long as they aren't following me! It just makes me nervous!

no because most cops are lazy. They are very annoying, they make up their own "rules" and they probably don't know how to keep a relationship.

....... thats a very good question. If you break up with them could they make your life hell? SURE!
If things go well you can get out of a lot of trouble(I need that)
If the woman was not a butch and was nice I don't see why not.

Pro: cool job, cool uniform, you always feel protected and secure at home
Con: get called for duty late at nite...risk of them coming home wounded
