....Yeah t'was kinda dark wasn't it. Class film though. Love to see it again, although be sscared it isn't as good as I remember. Think I must have been about 5.

Yes I remember reading about it, but never got around to seeing it. I'm sure it had a PG certification when it was originally released, but when I saw the DVD it had a U certification. I didn't dream that did I, it really did happen didn't it?

I wonder if it will ever be shown on TV? Unless it already has been! Would only watch it if it doesn't have musical numbers in it, can't stand bloody musicals!! LOL

It's based upon a series of 5 books - they are cheap enough and worth reading, I think the DVD may be available too. I have it on video - it's a Disney film. There is a lot left out from the books but it is still pretty decent.

Dear God yes - my kids have got it - every now and then then put the damn thing on and it is not one of Disneys better efforts. John hurt is the voice of the bad guy and not very convincing. My one concilation is that the film is on video and will wear out one day! Oh the joy.

Yeh its on the disney channel all the time! and i saw it on dvd in woolworths the other day - bargain for £5

I love that movie. I watch it on tv whenever they show it. Which isn't very often. Always felt sorry for the pig since it was wanted by the bad guy for it's powers.
