Placing blame is always bad. Solutions are what we should be searching for. I mean, do we blame the steel and plastic manufacturers for selling parts to the small arms assemblers, or weapons dealers, or the people that shoot the guns, or people that pass bad laws that don't stop the guns from being made or bought. Whoever can get people to stop shooting people for the rest of time is the person that drops the nuclear weapon that ends the world because it will never happen. Why you ask? Because hate is an emotion that can't be prevented.

Crooks, hoodlums, and anyone who sells to them. There will always be somebody out for the buck and the rest of us be damned. We live in NY, my husband has a gun and permit which he obtained for pistol club competition. He followed the whole routine to obtain the gun, carries it only to and from a meet, etc. I think it would help if we had a federal law requiring all legitimate gun dealers to make a background check, then register the gun with the buyer's photo ID. Right now different states have different rules. Some are way too lenient.

Who? Perhaps the founders of the constitution would be the only one's you can put a "who" too. They made it possible for us to keep and bear arms, which in turn has made it impossible for our government to radically go against humantiy like Germany did in the 1930's and 40's.

How many guns are there on the streets? I would like to recommend you read "More Guns Less Crime" and recognize some of the truth for a change.

I wouldn't say "blame". It is the second amendment that guarantees our right to bear arms. It came out of the revolution when average people stood and fought for our liberty. And Jefferson said that Americans have a right to form militias for the protection of the country. Without arms that would not be possible.

The people who buy them are as responsible as the people who sell them. Guns should be better regulated. They are way to easy to obtain. And of course, like anything else, if it's easy to get, there are people who think it's all right to have them. It's as if some people actually need someone to tell them what's good and what's bad.

The Supreme court for not understanding that an "well regulated militia" is an organized group of people and not every Tom, Dick and Harry on the streets.

The Second Amendment.

Thieves. Gangbangers. Burglars. etc.
The gun manufacturer's sell them to legit people.
Legit people keep them in their homes, businesses, etc.
Thieving Gangbanging Burglars break in, steal them, sell them or use them to shoot their fellow gangbangers or innocent people standing on the streets. I feel every U.S. Citizen should be allowed to carry a visible weapon. There would be much less crime.
