You can go to http://www.govbenefits.gov/govbenefits_en.portalo. It has federal and state databases for government assistant programs. It's an interactive site so you can find programs that match your specific criteria as well as find out if you qualify.

You could get Government help if you have special needs, such as a van for your wheelchair, or a TTY line because you are deaf.

There are also government publications which can help you learn to budget if you can't learn to live on $2k/month.

Also, there is government help if you want to go to school and get a better career; you can get government loans and grants.

You mean, like a handout? That's Socialism. Be careful what you wish for.

Why do you think gov't should supply "any" of your needs?

Read the US Constitution, and you will see every authority and obligation given to federal gov't. Gov't is prohibited from taking money or possessions from people and redistributing wealth. Yeah, I know, they do it anyway. Any ideas why?

Because there's always somebody like you that think gov't ought to meet their every need.
