why do people think spanking your child is physical abuse? sometimes they need it. have you ever seen nanny 911? if those kids got a spanking once in a while they wouldn't act that way. sometimes punishment doesn't work. you have to show them who's boss. what is your opinion?

When and If I have kids, If they do something wrong or innapropriate such as lie, hit, fight,curse,or something to that extent, they will get an appropriate punishment, if spanking is apporpriate then so be it,Spanking is only wrong if it is out of anger and frusration. If you spank a child out of love then theres nuthin wrong with that.

there is nothing wrong with spanking as long as you dont leave marks that last longer then 30 sec. and that you arent spanking your kids over every little thing. i was brought up that way and i bring my own kids up that way. they are well behaved and have manners. if more parents would spank their kids when they really need it we wouldnt have so many rude out of control kids that think that they can do what the want when the want. i have seen parents "talk" to their kids saying " now johnny dont do that" or "suie just sit down." over and over again and the kid just keeps right on doing what they want. the parents need to take control and show the child who is boss and that they will be listened to. and if the child dont listen or do as they are told then there are punishment for it.

Absolutely nothing! There is no more effective discipline, than a good, sound spanking. Whether boys or girls, it's a punishment that needs to make a comeback. We are already seeing the effects of a generation not spanked and it's not good.

SO YOU'VE WATCHED NANNY 911.HAVE YOU LISTEN TO THEM AND HAVE YOU SEEN RESULTS. O.K. THEN.MY OPINION IS THAT SPANKING JUST SHOWS THEM THAT VIOLENCE IS ACCEPTABLE.THEY GROW UP DOING THE SAME OR WORSE. IT'S A PROVEN FACT. DON'T GET ME WRONG THERE IS A DIFFERENCE WITH A PADDLING AND PHYSICAL ABUSE.HOWEVER, SOME PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO DRAW THE LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes spanking is a strong necessity. But some parents just take it to far.

when you whip a child, you teach them aggression, and anger. i mean think about it, when people spank there child, are they doing it cause of what the child did, or because there mad at the child for what they did. parents whip kids cause they have anger issues.
