I need to vent and find out if I'm over-reacting....every time my boyfriend is hanging out with his best friend, and I call him - even if it's just to say "hi" - his friend will keep talking to him as if he's not even on the phone with me! It pisses me off so much that I get upset, say "talk to you later" to my boyfriend, and hang up (even though it's not my bf's fault). Is his friend that dumb that he can't wait one minute???

"Danny T" you don't understand......they can just be sitting there watching TV and saying nothing to each other, but if I call, all of a sudden his friend has something to talk about. Get it?

Sometimes I think his friend is jealous of our relationship......maybe that has something to do with it? Or maybe he wants all the attention....argh, it's so frustrating.

Yes girl!! That use to happen to me and that would make me so mad!! Just tell him "look im not going to sit here and try to talk over your stupid friends!!" "So go somewhere or step away so we can talk for a min" That's what I always said and he would move around. It is his fault (your boyfriend) he needs to make his friends respect him (which might be impossible..lol) while he is on the phone, especially if he is talking to his Girl!! He does that on purpose (your boyfriend), b/c he knows that pisses you off in hopes to get you off the phone and like you said...you just hang up!! Now his friends are always going to be loud and rude, but you don't have any control over that!! Your boyfriend on the other hand is a different story, besides your in a relationship with him not his friends!! Apparently he doesn't' care enough hear what you have to say or he would move away, better yet tell his friend to Shut Up!!

I can understand how you feel. But do you call him every time he goes over there or just once in awhile? And do you call him just once while he is there or several times? Do you talk to him very long? Does his friend have a girlfriend? All this makes a different as to what is going on with the friend doing what it the way he is doing it. He is being rude, but he is also just giving your boyfriend a hard time, cause he knows that it is you. I have heard how the guys talk when a friend comes over to visit and their girlfriend calls while they are there. They rib them, saying man you can't go no where with out her calling and "checking up" on you to see if you are where you say you are going.
I have called mine and done the same thing, not really having nothing to say, but calling him just to be calling him.
That is just a guy thing and yes it is rude to us but not to them.They think it is funny.

He totally doesn't like you and only being childish to get your bf to hang up with you or something. He is totally jealous of the attention your bf gives you anyway. So he figures just acting an *** is supposed to get your boyfriend to like him more and spend more time with him.

The friends are being a a*s*s* hole and they know it. Ur b/f needs to tell them about this, guys tend to act like kids no matter what age. But u should tell ur boyfriend to talk with his friends.
