Love both, you have the advantage of being a part of two cultures :)

I'm half white, half hispanic... Most of my cousins are different races too (chinese/white, philipino/hispanic, korean) I think it's great and I take pride in having such ethnic diversity within my extended family. Embrace both cultures, learn all you can about them, celebrate them and yourself. A lot more people are biracial now than generations ago so you're not alone.

aww... can't help you there. well, i sort of can, but i don't know which races are pressuring you.
i'm japanese and pilipino. both sides are pressuring me to be brilliant in school and the best at every single thing i do. if i get a B+ in a class, i get a lecture.
but on the japanese side, especially, i get a lot of pressure. i'm the only person in my family that isn't a full-blood japanese, so i'm kind of ostracized... i guess i could be considered the black sheep of the family, cuz i'm a halfbreed, but my family won't admit it. i still feel pressured to be better than the best i can be, just to prove to them that i'm better than what they think i can be.

Ashley don't feel lonely cuz I imagine you got the best of both races, you have to reintegrate to both your races and learn. Don't let this bother you and don't descriminate either of them join what the good God gave you honey I wish i would be by-racial.

Girl, you need to tell both sides to stop pressuring you because your race is "biracial". Not just black, white, indian, rician, or whatever. You are you! and if they can't accept it, than find new family member's, love one's, or friends to hang around. Because if they are stressin you, than you don't need the drama.

Do what you believe is best for you. If that means taking from both cultures to make them your own, so be it. And find someone close to you that you can talk to about your feelings.

God is with you (sorry if that offended you, I don't know if you're Christian or not...). Well if you are a Christian, pray about it. & I am pressured ALL THE TIME by others, & it really helps me. Try telling them politely to "bug off", since it bugs you. I don't know if that'll work or not, but ya might wanna give it a shot.... & SMILE!!! :)

Just live your life. I know it's easier said than done but try to brush offf whatever they may be saying or expecting from you. Just do what you can and focus on yourself and your own goals, etc.

Be yourself. Anyway the truth is, most people are bi-racial, or even multi-racial - not too many purebreds left in this world.
