As a lifelong Arsenal fan im disgusted by Ashley Coles behaviour, He would be nothing without the gunners yet he'll readily walk away for more money. As if money matters to him now, he's already amassed a fortune.
I was also disgusted that he played in last years champions leagur final after such a long "injury" which mysteriously cleared up when there was a final in sight.
Glad i got that off my chest, Anyone agree???

Let him go. The team will be better off with players who really want to be there. Wenger will find at least two good players with the money they will get for him. Good riddance.

Ashley Cole is the best left back in the world, would we miss him hell yes it's not ambitious for the club just after Henry signing anew deal and bringing in Tomas rosicky. But Ashley is becoming more and more cough up in the media spotlight and he isn't helping himself i would like to think he will use a bit of sense and stay with club since he was six but until he speaks we will never no whats tabloid and whats the truth. On the other hand 25 million in Arsenes pocket well the Sky's the limit any less mind and i think I'll go on a killing spree.
As for the champions league final well we won it 1-0 never mind the referee wearing the Barcelona shirt. Cole had to play and he played very well Flamini and Clichy and even Armand Triore look great at left back but you can't win anything without a blend of youth and experience. Arsene buy Mexes or Chivu please.

Hey! from one side you are right... (Jan Right -Right-Right!!! :) )
But! We have no englishmen in the team.. SOl is gone and Cole may leave. Kerry Gilbert is on loan.
I think Teo, Hoyt ana Smith will remain. And if Smith also will go on loan then we have to find 2 more englishmen for the CL sqad.
There is a rule that we must have 4 englishmen. So ... you understand me..))
Wenger and Co do their best to leave Cole with Arsenal. But not everithing depends on them now. They had to act, when everithing was in their hands. Thay missed the oportunity.Arsenal had to offer him the cellery he deserved. The cellery that he- the best left defender deserved. Not 5 mln in a year ,as Chelsea does. But less. Cose he was the Arsenal man that moment.. and not the man who ran about money.. Now the things have changed... And Arsenal had to know what is Chelsea..
Today I can't answere do I want Cole in the squad or not..

Well mate! You can’t say that about Cole, he maybe traitor, but anyway he is one of the best defenders in the world, he is quick he is useful in attacking, he’s got quite a lob, and a real talent, something which can not be found real often these days, and I don’t think that if he leaved would be in favor of the gunners, but a loss for them (us)… Flamini is still young and not were skillful looking in he sense of a team helper, he is a good defender but needs to work on his attacks, if he wants to fit in Arsene’s tactics… so my answer is : if we can keep Cole anyhow, lets keep him, if he is determined to go, than that’s that…

Maybe just got fed up of playing in the Highbury Library and knows its gonna be even more passionless in that new emirates bowl thingy. But yes he's a **** as are most footballers, still a few decent ones about though, Jamie Carragher ******* living legend if ever there was one.

Haha.. it is alright if he leave cause Arsenal is always able to find a replacement for all their players except for Henry.. He is just a talent which you would want to have but main thing is you got to let him have his won way..he perform best at that way..just like for Messi,Ronney and Ronaldihno..if you restrict them..they dun play well..you must allow them to play their fun football after all football should be played in that fun way not those rough tackling..football player should understand that..

I must admit I expected Ashley Cole to retire at Arsenal. It's funny what money can do.
It could have been worse, he could have gone to Tottenham.

......Unless you're chavski........
........in that case it's £25m!
BAD mistake Mr Cole, shouldn't listen to your moneygrabbing wife and should have come with us to the Emirates Staduim, for it really is the promised land!

Ashley is definately a top class player, its quite sad to see him leaving. but this is football! which player don't come and leave? we got to accept the fact. A top class player leaves, and we'll welcome a world class player! Arsenal rules!
