No I don't think they're trying to sound like anyone. I think their style is completely unique and I respect that.

I think Panic! At the Disco is trying to be more like Fall Out Boy. After all, Pete Wentz (from Fall Out Boy) was the one who helped make them famous. FOB and P!ATD must be similar.

I think record companies are trying to get as much material as they can out of anyone who sounds like the current hit band.

I don't think anyone is trying to sound like anyone else... It's just that the record companies know what sells, and it all sounds the same for a few years.

Most of these bands can be traced-back to the generic 90's sounds of Blink-182 or Greenday.

Their style makes me think of The Killers. Like, the music.

i dont think they r TRYING to sound like anyone else, I think its just the record companys know what the people like to listen to! But I think everyone should listen to GREEN DAY! they are the best ******_g band ever and no one can beat them!
