Unless there are substantial injuries the Seattle Seahawks will go:

15 - 1 in the regular season and then win the Superbowl.

I don't think the NFL will find a reason to fix the game this year. You had to be dumb, deaf and blind to not see that ref's at the request of the NFL helped the Steelers win.

They seem to be the logical pick since there really isn't a lotof competiton in the watered-down NFC with the exception of the Panthers, Bears, and Bucs. Remember, there is always a team that comes out from basically nowhere to make a run at it (Steelers, anybody?), but if they get the breaks and stay injury-free, the Seahawks can get back there and if they do, I think they can do it

ESPN ranks the top 10 teams this way so far:

1. Seahawks
2. Steelers
3. Colts
4. Broncos
5. Panthers
6. Patriots
7. Cowboys
9. Bengals
10. Redskins

But the Seahawks lost some key players in G Steve Hutchinson and WR Joe Jurevicius, but most importantly they were able to re-sign Shaun Alexander. Losing Hutchinson will hurt, but don't expect it to have too much of an impact on Alexander. He might not be able to match last season's amazing numbers (1,880 yards rushing and 28 TDs), but he'll be in the neighborhood.

They'll be good, but they blew their chance. They'll lose in the NFC title game.

You whiners like big_dreamer2005 crack me up. Oh and soccer blows sprowt69, but you knew that already.

Nope. Whiners & complainers(except the Cowboys) don't win the Bowl. Because they got one bad call in the game, the refs gave the game to the Steelers? Remember the Steelers --Colts game? The great no-catch call on Polomaulo? The Steelers got screwed & could have lost a game they dominated, but they didn't. They pulled it together & won , no thanks to the refs.

something is conceivable, quite if the Saints look previous the Hawks. this may properly be a catch pastime for them. BTW, if the Hawks win, they gained't unavoidably play the Bears. If the Eagles beat the Packers, the winner of NO-SEA is going to Atlanta in the second one round.

The Seahawks or Seachickens as I call them. Unfortunately, they're "too soft". They don't have that nastiness personality some teams have. They don't have that ugly outspoken toughness.

And guys: ESPN stands for Entertainment and Sports Programming Network. They can't predict shyt right.

They choked last year...yes they're slightly better provided their draft is indeed better, however...AFC has some pretty strong teams again this year: Denver, Pittsburg, and Cinncinnati. Any one of those teams can beat them imo. They definately can get to the superbowl...it'll be interesting. Dallas and Tampa Bay would be my guess for the strongest competition on NFC.
