Hard to say. I mean, don't most mainstream punk (and I think Joe Strummer spins in his grave hearing that applied to these bands) bands bag it?
OK, I'd say of the two Good Charlotte suck more as their name is lame. No punk band would call themselves "good" or name themselves after a girl. Sorry, it sounds like an ice cream flavor or a brand of panties. So name alone they lose plus any guy that has not been in prison or the military who wears a slew of tattoos is too lame for babies.

Simple Plan and Good Charlotte are both pretty catchy. Do they write their own songs? Ok, I'll give them both the benefit of the doubt. Let's say they do write their own songs. I'd have to say that Good Charlotte is definitely the better of the two because any band that's the favorite band of Hillary Duff has definitely gotta be the worst band ever. Thanks.

BOTH!! I hate both of them. Hope they´re dead soon enough. Maybe Good Charlotte. Since they try to give an image of them being a punk band. But they music has nothing to do with it. And music is not about being famous or making money. Good music is there for a purpose. To make a difference in people´s lives. Not making money or being in every magazine and TV channel. That SUCKS!! It really pisses ppl.

I personally believe is simple plan is better. I like some of Good Charlottes songs but not all of them.

I think that Simple Plan is worse. Good Charlotte was good in their time, but aren't that great either. Simple Plan is just too typical boy band for me!

I thought they were the same band, the suck equally in my opinion! But I suppose if I had to chose only ONE, it would be Simple Plan bc that dudes voice irritates me!
Kind of like how those shows Amen and 227 were, though those didn't suck, they reminded me of one another. I was a confused child...
