I Know What You Did Last Summer. I am not saying the movie was bad, but it was a huge departure from the movie. Two other examples of movies that are nothing like the original, but were still good movies are The Running Man and The Lawnmower Man.

Bonfire of the Vanities was a nightmare. The book was brilliant but the movie was awful! On the other end, I thought that Gary Sinise's version of "Of Mice and Men" with John Malkovitch was incredible. Exactly like the book. I loved it!

Queen of the Damned;
Although I like the movie, it did not come close to doing the book justice. Stuart Townsend however makes a very convincing Lestat de Lioncourt, much better than Tom Cruise.

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. It was the longest and most dragged out movie I have EVER seen. Every time the scene changed towards the end, our whole group groaned and rolled our eyes because we knew that the end was still not in sight! Not even Kevin Spacey could save this flick!

Beyond a doubt it was "The Beast Master" a complete and total travesty on what was a very good SiFi book. None of them are worth a damn from the perpective of the books.

Les Miserables starring Liam Nieson. The film makers had absolutely no confidence in the story.

I was never fond of the Gone With the Wind movie, but it's so dated that it's probaby not fair to feel this way.

I don't think the Harry Potter's were great films, but my kids disagree. Harry is supposed to have black messy hair and green eyes! ;)
