There was a girl. I can’t remember her name, but she was wearing a red bikini
She was in the pool most of the time. She was also my best friend in the dream..
Nothing really happened for awhile besides I felt good with her like she was perfect.
Later in my dream she died and was just floating there in the pool. I picked her up as fast as possible and, started crying. Later I started rubbing her hair

Well, let's see, the perfect girl...... could you see her face? what did she do that was perfect? often, the death of a character in our dreams is the symbollic "death" or breaking off of our own characteristics that person embodied........ or the characteristics we search for. If you couldn't see her face, it probably is the former, if you could- it's external characteristics you look for. Have you had a change in job? Are you entering a serious relationship? Are you moving? Red is a symbol of power as well as love. Water is renewal, but also change, sometimes violent change. You are mourning something, because you cried. Now, to put a spin on it, hair can have the symbol of fertility/sexuality......... has it 'died'?
In a nutshell, something you have or always wanted is now out of your reach and your mind is trying to cope. You are under stress. You need to meditate on what may be the real problem and then the dream will stop happening.
Now the ansewerer above me has a point, about someone close to you leaving..... generally tho, you'd dream of sleeping with that person as intercourse in dreams is actually our mind trying to reconnect with someone.
of course, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.........
