Family reunion planning...need "ice-breaker"/get to know you stuff to do on the 1st night at the hotel.

Not really talking about games, but a way to get strangers (who are related) together and to quickly help them equate certain facts with the new faces they're meeting all at the same time.

Get some family photo's that can be passed around.
Maybe start a chat about family trees, see if any body in the family has started one, and see where your connections lie, with each other.
Who is connected to whom, and by whom, could be fun, finding out.

get some alcohol and have a big toast, then have every one state their name, where their from and who your related to, oh yea and some more alcohol
