Dear Salary Seeker;
Depending on the marketable skills you have and how you put them to use will determine how much you can get paid.
Without a college degree, such areas as Information Technology would provide a prosperous career and income. You may want to look at a trade such as being a plumber or electrician. They too require some level of schooling but do make good money.
I would challenge you though to turn your thinking around. I would try to answer a few of the following questions:
1. What is it that interests me? What would I enjoy doing while making good money doing it?
2. What are my strengths and how can I put them to use?
3. What kind of lifestyle do I want to have and what kind of earnings to I need to have to do that?
You might be lucky and find a good high paying job without a college degree. However, our society continues to place a high level of significance and importance on a college degree.
I would seek out what you would enjoy doing, and then take it from there.
I hope this helps!

There are so many ways to earn very good money that there is no reason for anyone to ever be poor in the west. I do not mean those that are medicaly un able to do what is needed. We need to help[ them. I have done several different things in my life and some times two and three at the same time. I earned very good money and retired at 54 with no wories about money the rest of my liffe. I am not a degree holding worker but I am not afreid to take chances and work hard to make them work. A fact you most likely will not believe but this is very true. I sold food on the street for two summers and earned not less than five hundred dollars per day that I sold food. It is amazing how much a simple sausage can earn someone willing to mke sure they are very good and fresh. Yes location was a big help. There are so many things a person can do rather than working for another person. I worked at two universities for ten years and was paid more than a professor of tenyere. At the same time I was doing janitor work at night that also paid more than average. I financed a truck driver by buying the budweiser that would fit in the big truck and sellling it to taverns and other places. When he saved enough to pay for the beer himnself then I found other places for the money to earn money. I am almost seventy now and haven't stopped yet. Two years go I bought a very nice two bedroom three bath house and paid cash for it. Have been flat broke so many times I can't count but then I have been very wealthy for a while at times as well. It is not making a lot of money that I am after. Yes I need enough to be able to deal but the fun of doing different things is the great joy of my life.

Hi,
Why do you want a job? Wouldn't you rather work for yourself and do what you love as long as it produced some income.
That's what I do.
I created my website with SBI! last February, 2006.
I now get over 4,000 hits per month.
No technical knowledge required. If you Yahoo!,
you know more than enough to create a website that works.
Over 20,000+ people around the world enjoy the benefits of this system.
Some say even spiritually.
You don't know me from Adam, so don’t take my word for it. Spend a little time on your own due diligence.

entertainment...singing...dancing...comedian...There's all sorts. But if it seems like too much, dont' worry. There's a lot of high paying jobs you can get without a college degree as long as you're really really really friendly.

The skies the limit. You just have to be willing to start and the bottom and work your way up. Many millionaires have no college degrees.

Yeah, go into the trades. Be an apprentice and then get your license. Contact your labor department to find out how to enroll. Tradesmen make good money when they are done and at least they are paid while they learn the trade they pursue.

Go in to trade work. I assume by your name you are a man. Use those muscles to make your money. After four years in your trade, you can test for a business license. Get that and you can own your own company. In 10-15 years, you can stop working, and supervise. Thasts what my husband did. I don't work, we have four kids and we are VERY VERy comfortable. Good Luck
