ya I agree with #1 BUT, I did everything they suggested and $61.00 later I have to drain the pool and scrub it out and start all over again. If you can get it to turn clear right away , you've got it made, if not, then dumping a gallon of pool chemicals does nothing.It has to stay clear, once it's green, it's gone. good luck!

It's the color of the cement/pool foundation that determines the water color. So, drain the pool of all the water and paint that dark blue for the fantasy look or light blue for the gentle look as you desire.

Take a sample of the water to a good pool place and they will tell you what you need to put in it. If it is green, it has algae in it and you need something to kill the algae, You probably haven't put in enough chlorine with this hot weather.

Even experts can speculate...to get it right...take a sample of your water to your local pool store...they will analyze it and give you the right chemicals...however, sometimes the answer is not running your filter long enough.

call your local pool man, he will dump chlorine and a little acid in it, you need to get all the leaves and stuff out with the net if it has algae you can scrub it off with a brush, also if there is black dots thats black algae and your gonna have to drain your pool and acid wash it but id hire someone for that

what !! lol arent you supposed to change the color of the pool by painting the outer sides? but if whats green is the water then youre going to have to change the water and put in clean water...

when my pool did that, i'd give it a chlorine shock trtmnt. depending on how much sun it gets, u might also have to put in chlorine evry day. the sun and heat make algae grow rapid. gl

buy a chemical called "Shock" and plenty of it...maybe the incredible hulk is doing no.1 in your pool

Refill the pool and keep it covered. Try chlorine tablets also.

shock ...the product is called shock it... it kills all alge and makes it nice a clean clorinate daily
