I think it is because the values are close to the same. And it dose seem that the Brits are holding on to their old ways a lot tighter than the USA. Russia and the USA are pace setters and both countries along with China will one day be allies. Just takes time. But there will always be a leader of the pack. And the leader will be the one with the most tech and the power to lead the way.
It could be said that most countries Kiss @ss on other countries. Could be because of oil or for maybe just money. China depends on the USA to buy it's goods so they will Kiss up as well. Russia is gaining control over a lot of exports and a lot of countries are kissing it's @ss.
So why would you stay something so hateful? Has England done something to you? Maybe it has stopped buying gas from Russia and you think it is because the USA told them to? Very well could be. Israel would stop the war pretty quick if the USA would tell them to. But it will not happen.
Why was Russia not able to whip Afghanistan? The USA did it in just a few weeks time. Lots of questions if you really want to compare things.

I'll tell all of you one thing it's not being friends, its called looking after each others interests for self gain, which has nothing to do with friendship. You don't back up your freind when he is indeed wrong, that my dear FRIEND is called digging a grave 4 your beloved friend and with Americas demise the English have another great shot at world domination and with all the nations the U.K has upset in the past. They need America to stand behind them. "English beef has always ended up on Americas plate" which ends up poisoning this great nation. And i do believe the English have mastered the art of manipulation for they have learned the secrets from every culture known to mankind. So it is in the best interest that America is preoccupied with wars that don't make sense.

I think you answer your question yourself, and very accurate too. However, I would agree that Russia has bigger problems than England.
I consider Russia a great nation and the situation there really makes me worry
The problem the western civilisation really has is that we tend to see each other as rivals rather than allies. And that could be the cause of our destruction, eventually!

You are very stupid. The Brits have been good friends and allies of our nation for a long time. They are one of the major contributors to the effort here in Iraq. Many brave English soldiers have fallen in battle along with our troops.
