I mean:
Are your emotions and your energy level affected by those aroud you?

Yes, there's no way that I can be sad whenever I have ebullient friends around me. I just feel relieved that I have friends who can help me out at tough times and all.

I know I have done on occasions, but not very often, however I feel it when someone feeds off mine all the time, I can't be around those people for very long!

definatly. we all do. when you are at a concert and there is soo much energy all around you you can feel it. as apposed to going to a movie where everyone is relaxed.
