Yeah, tough question, since you're not going to make everyone happy. But to make it easier, I'll give you dictatorial powers for as long as you need to :)

Try to minimize the violence involved, that is, mass-killlings are bad, mmkay?

Palestinians : While the majority of the people want peace and land, the more extreme section wants complete elimination of Israel, and will likely use violence to try to sabotage any compromise.

Israelis : Most, like the Palestinians, want a secure and peaceful home, and want to be free to practice their religion. Many also feel "tied" to the land, due to religious beliefs. Not as much violence by individual terror groups, but the government is often heavy-handed.

I love how half of these answers are "Kill the -insert hated group here-". I hope you aren't my neighbors :)

We re-name and rededicate Israel. Yes! It is no longer a 'Jewish state' nor is it Palestine! Just like when I was a kid if we fought over it neither one of us 'got it.'

What happens is that everyone can live there regardless of religion - the holy lands could be operated by atheists who have no vested interest other than the salary they would receive for protecting the buildings and landmarks! Everyone is granted equal citizenship and the freedom to practice their religion of choice! Damaged or sub par accommodations would be brought to livable standards using monies collected from pilgrims to the holy lands...

Both sides need peace and at end they will get it:
One state for both like South Africa
2 viable states
wars and more killings
look Reading the Revolutionary Education Philosophy of Thomas Jefferson and compare it what is going on in Israel VS Palestine issue.
We find that education played a major role in the Palestinian demand for freedom, self-determination and liberation from a forced occupation MR. Jefferson said that the liberation of the slaves can be achieved by education when the slaves get educated they will askAll
Men are created equal by God
Was the key to African American liberation from slavery?
for their natural rights as human being .
The two States solution is the key to Palestinian liberation which go back to 1947 Security Council resolution called 181 or the partition plan.In the USA education was needed on both sides the Slaves and Masters
In the Holy Land education is needed on the Israeli side where the Israeli must understand that the land is for the two people equally and keep in mind that most israelis were not native ppl most came from some other countries.
A viable Palestine means a viable Israel and no viable Palestine means no viable Israel and wars go on between the two people.
No one could NOT change his mind unless he has no mind.
Occupying other people by force is losing policy in the past and now and has no future.

I would STOP always taking Israel's side. NO, I am not anti-semitic like those morons above me. But even though Hezbollah is a threat, it doesn't justify the senseless bombings in Lebenon. There are far too many casualties in this crisis. The UN must call for a cease fire. There is NO reason for the world to back Israel right now, what they are doing over there is nothing less than terrorism in itself.
The real key to peace in the Middle East is Syria. Look it up and research that country. All of the insurgents in Iraq and Hezbollah and even terrorist networks in Iran come from Syria. If Syria is returned to it's natural Sunni Arab state, they will be our ally against terror in the Middle East and pave the way for peace.
Of course that requires us as Americans to Impeach our horrible leader. B/c Bush and Dick will never act with diplomacy. They only know "cowboy diplomacy" and that is not working.

P.S: Nice Mr. Mackey impression, mmkay.

Lets see, Hussein decided to eliminate any that stood up to him and he was a dictator. He used chemical weapons. This involves mass graves and murders so that is out of the question. Since no one wants my forces in their land I can not single out the terrorists with soldiers, so that is out of the question. I would be more than willing to give the Palestinian people a place that was peaceful but since their terrorists all want my people dead, that is out of the question. I have the rest of the world breathing down my neck to make peace with people that want no peace. I am in a lose lose situation. There is no way to appease everyone. As a man once said you can not take both sides of the fence so jump. Israel tried doing this and was forced to jump. I am afraid that America is going to be placed in the same difficult situation.

Set up an entirely new country in which the current population each has a vote in electing a new government. No new emigration into the country, no matter where they are from. No movement of mass populations, everyone stays where they are now. No building projects to seperate the different religions. Then you start integrating the schools with all of the religions, muslim, jewish and christian (along with a few other faiths in there as well). It may take decades, literally generations to build up a new country that is peaceful.

First take away all there weapons. Both sides. Gather everyone up to opposite sides of the region and play capture the flag mixed with rock tag. Granted the Israeli's are at a disadvantage because they do not through rocks on a regular basis but it could get interesting. If it gets messy enough maybe God will step in and solve the problem.
One thing I have never understood is that they technically pray to the same god. Yet the massage delivered from god is so different.

Is it scary to you that there is so much anti-Semitism out there. The correct answer to you question is that there will never be peace in the middle as long as both groups survive (by both groups I mean Israel and the radical Islamic terrorists) Israel is not commit ed to the destruction of the USA or any other Non-Jewish country. The Islamic terrorists, however, are commit ed to the destruction of western Europe and the United States.

state of Israel must be down ...the state must not be held on Jewish religion, a non religious country could be held and multiple courts could be constructed for each religious group free elections , an equal citizenship for all those who lives in that country without discrimination between Arabs or non Arabs Muslims or Jews , all those Arab refugees must return and stop the Jewish immigration from all over the world to Israel ... nothing else but peace

I would do what Kennedy did to Russia during the Cuban missile crisis to the Iranians. I'd order a cease fire on Israels part tell the civilians to leave because the hammers gonna drop in 72 hours.
I would do the same to the North Koreans. I'd tell China deal with it or we will. You'd see action then.

Probably the majority of the peace loving Palestinians should side with Israel and help them more in eliminating the extremists. If they could do that, faster, better resolutions could be accomplished.
