If yes, can I request a duplicate file to take with me?

You are absolutely entitled to your entire file. If you request a duplicate copy, they may charge you .20 - .25 per page for copying charges, but it's yours for the asking. If you believe you were wrongfully terminated, contact the local EEOC. Good luck!

You have a right to view your file and they have the right to have a person present with you when you view it. You have the right to request copies of documents that are contained in the file and they can charge you for those copies. Best of look.
