Im from New Zealand & if I buy a DVD from Amazon.com that comes from the US that costs $39.99-US dollars, how much will it cost me overall (after its been changed to NZ dollars & after theres a shipping fee put on)???

Right now, one U.S. dollar is worth 1.62206 New Zealand dollars. So do the math. $39.99 US equals $64.86 in NZ dollars.

(By the way, $39.99 is rather high for a DVD, unless it's a multi-disc set.)

Not sure about the conversion, but I imagine they would have an anwer to that at amazon.com. You can put the item in your shopping cart and they'll give the the out the door price, atleast in American dollars. Make sure your shipping address is filled out to where you live in New Zealand too.
Also, I want to mention that there are different "Reagion codes" for DVD's. What I know is that DVD's here in the U.S. are Reagion 1, while I think in Britian they are Reagion 2, and thus we can't play their movies on our normal players, and they can't play ours, unless we get a DVD player that can do that.
You might want to check this all out and see what type of reagion DVD players are used in New Zealand before you order a DVD from another country that will probably cost a good about more due to shipping.
