I believe it is a gorgeous Gaelic name. It fits well if you have some Irish heritage or have an interest in Celtic history. My cousin's name is Erin and I love it. I also like the boys name Aaron too!!! And if your little one turns out to be a boy you can keep the same name :)

One thing to keep in mind about uniqueness: you are signing your kid up to have her/his name misspelled the rest of her/his life. And when you see the personalized license plates for bikes or nameplates for rooms etc. your child will not find his or hers. Certainly not a big issue but it can be for young kids. And its certainly not a huge issue for most adults but it can be an issue. And that is also true for uncommon spellings. Everyone is unique. You do not need a unique name to show that.
I think its also interesting that most people have at least one name that is off limits to them. Either its a relative that they did not like. Or someone they met when they were kids who they did not like or who was mean to them. Or an old bf or gf. Or even the nicknames that can be associated with a given name.
I like Erin btw but its your choice along with your spouse/so.

I'm not really up for that name. Get a unique name like these:
Harley, Riley, Sophia, Gabriella, Patience, Averie, Harmony, Meredith, Kaydence, or Abigail.

It's OK. If you are looking for a name, how about Chelsea or Kaylee?
