It's a teaching job. I probably wont get it, I dont really want it, I have health problems to worry about, and I have a son with autism.

I just feel I have to go for jobs because I can't not work. It doesn't look good if you don't work.

do what u want to do. dont do something cause u think it is what people want u to do. let us all live by our own rules and to hell with what other people think. easier said than done, i know. life is full of presure and society expects everyone to conform, but i say fight the good fight.

You are already saying you won't get the job. What's up with that.If you have your mind made up then nothing can change that. As far as your health is concerned why are you worrying about that? Worrying won/t help anything or anybody. You need to take care of yourself so that you can be there for your son. Autism isnt bad it's just a little bit challenging. Look at this as a gift from God and Live Life. Are you afraid of working or loosing money if you are getting financial aid to help you. ? Work is good for ones mind , health, body and Spirit

Doesn't look good to ??? If you don't want the job, don't bother - you'll be doing yourself and your potential students a big favor. I'm not sure where your son's autism comes in - is he school aged or under? There are resources in your community that can help, check in the phone book under Social Services. You weren't specific about your health problems either, if you would be taking a job only to quit, it would be better to resolve these health issues first and then look for a job that you could enjoy while earning money. How are you supporting yourself? Again, check with social services, you can talk to a counselor who can give you some direction because it sounds as if you are wandering aimlessly right now.

GO for it. Teaching is in such high demand. I say take it for a year and if you don't like it apply somewhere else. It doesn't hurt to try.

If you don't want it don't go for it. Do something that is more suited to your lifestyle and situation.
