I don't it either, I'm fascinated only be the way he acts on the pitch, back a year ago, he would cuss out the refs and get sent off but now he has calmed down a bit and doesn't argue.

Wayne Rooney is one of the most exciting prospects in world football at this present moment in time. he is 20 years old, as fast as a cheetahand as strong as an ox. it is only once in a lifetime that that this kind of player comes around. we should all be grateful that we are alive to see him play.

I can think of two reasons:
1. Because of his nutcracker performance (with Carvalho) on the field!
2. Because he looks like a pig and that fascinates them! They seem to value dirty pigs a lot!

who knows! all he can do is stampede at people with the ball and sometimes he gets through them. the comentators then say how he amazingly skinned the players. I'm like, " doh stupid! would you not move if a shrek lookalike was running your way" he hits anyone and they'll just bounce off his gut. not worth your career in football.

I agree, he's strong and aggressive but average or only slightly above at best. Not nearly as good as Owen was at his age.

You and me both. Personally, I think he is a little doggy-do.

Whenever I see him, I feel he should be working on a building site. And he has manners more suitable to a pig farm.

Role model? Don't make me laugh.
