Rust removal lower side body panels
Repaint
Sun roof
Interior restoration ,seats,roof,Dash,wood,weather stripping.
New Euro headlights

The car is a bit sluggish how to boost performance?How much?

I also want to make the car quieter with some hush mats>How much?

Not sure but i have a 74 240D but you can look on the internet and get catologs for the car or you can order parts online....hope that helps you get a better idea.

the 1st theory that got here to my strategies upon analyzing this post became a million. WHY is college training cost is united states of america ridiculously high priced? WHY do colleges choose lots funds? a school isn't a business enterprise like Apple or Microsoft. My sister will graduate from her 4 years of school quickly and the completed coast of training pee paid throughout the time of those 4 years....is OMG too lots. the quantity is very almost as lots because of fact the U.S. national debt. 2. do colleges certainly choose a number of funds? 3. united states of america is at the instant dealing with an economic disaster; it is anticipated to be between the worst ever in U.S. historic previous. repaint 1,500 to 5,000 how good do you want it?
Interior about 6k if the dash s blue I don't think MB sells it anymore.

Not much you can do on power for that car. How do you make this car quit? Turn it off. Hush Hush would add heat and not stop much.

I'll bet you can buy a 1985 or newer MB 300Turbo Diesel for a lot less money than restoring your parent's car although I'm sure there is sentimental value attached to that car.
