I used to like him, but now since the "Passion" movie, he seems to think that he's holier than thou.
He has revealed himself as a bigot, and he deserves to be black listed in Hollywood.

I learned about Mel Gibson's tirade against Jews in 2004, right around the time The Passion of the Christ came out. Ever since then, Mel Gibson hasn't tried to hide his rascism against Jews. I guess every male celebrity has to have a bit of psychoness to him nowadays. Mel Gibson's lunatics are about his equivalent of Tom Cruise pushing Scientology as the only "real religion". I have some advice for the two of them: get a life, get some reality pills, and stick them up your a hole. Yeah, Mel Gibson's not a nice persojn in that respect and I don't understand why he hates Jews that much. He has revealed he's anti-Semite since 2004 and it hasn't affected him as far as I know. His career's not ruined because Hollywood's willing to recall his past successes and overlook his failures as a human being. Which is good and bad, I suppose. It's not fair that celebrities get off on stuff like that. See Michael Jackson.

Mel Gibson's career is not ruined because many can see through certain people trying to crucify him. These same people have been after him since he made the wildly successful, Passion of the Christ. I think the more appropriate question is ,what are some people so afraid of? Mel is wealthy beyond measure and he can start his own film studio if he wants. Some people love to play the anti-semite card and are not in their element unless they are perpetual victims.

First of all it's completely ridiculous to say that the Passion Of The Christ was anti-Semitic. It was the story of Christ's Death according to the bible. The bible says the Jews asked for Jesus to be Crucified, what the bible says is not Gibson's fault.
As far as his statements when he was drunk, from what I read on-line it's vague what he said and most of it sounds like rumor, not to mention I doubt there's very many people who haven't gotten drunk and said something stupid at some point.

Nah, you're reaching.
Maybe everyone should judge YOU on hear-say, based on an unfortunate event in your life that happened as a result of a lapse of judgment on your part-(ever been drunk, cussed at someone who loves you, lied, cheated?) Would that event be you in a nutshell, or is there much more to a person than something they did wrong one time? We all have things in our lives we have to overcome. Mr.Gibson made a movie, told a story with accuracy. It is up to no man to change the truth for fear a group of people will be offended by history. He is not anti-Semitic, as you say- people say dumb things when they are drunk. He should not be drunk in the first place, true. And you should not spread gossip, or judge someone who is obviously capable of great beauty.

I don't think it will matter a bit. Then again Spike Lee and whined about the jew run media for years and doesn't have much of a career. Mel could get out of it though. He could play it off as a really bad joke. It is well known in hollywood that he is a major jokester. I will still see his flicks , they are always good.

Have you ever been drunk! Yes he probably ranted and raved but, hurt his career. Probably not! Do you know how much it took to make The Passion of the Christ, he paid for most of it! Chances are it does nothing to his career...wow, a slap on the wrist from somebody and away he goes to another movie!~

If Tom Cruise could survive being known as a scientologist, Mel can survive being known as an anti-semite - and it was no secret anyway. Folks, he's just an actor. Why do most of you assume an actor's opinions have anything to do with anything?
Most of them barely finished high school and then we find them being lauded as authorities on science, politics, culture, economics, children, sex (well, maybe they are experts there), etc. People, they are dummies!!! Get used to it!

Movie stars do all sorts of thing; Winona was caught shoplifting; a couple have been jailed for drugs; Hugh Grant picked up a prostitute but still their careers go on regardless. If it is true then it is a shame, but I doubt if it is the end for his acting - people will pay big money to see a movie just because he is in it. Money talks.

There will need to be some MAJOR damage control. Perhaps some soul searching on Mel's part. As a good Catholic he should not hate the Jewish people. I hope that in his sober heart he will find the peace he is seeking.

one time when i was drunk i passed out on my friends floor and took all my clothes off in the middle of the night.
I wished I would have ripped on some jews instead, because then there wouldn't been pictures of my bare white *** on the internet.
