I would check into what Harvard has to offer for Journalism classes and do a search for Journalism Schools and see what you come up with. The search might find schools that will help you get your traveling in also. Good Luck

From what my friends have told me, Harvard and Yale do not have Journalism majors. My friend wanted to be a journalism major, but when she found out Yale didn't allow that, she decided to major in Language and Literature. It really depends on what you want to do. Columbia, Carleton, and NYU have great journalism programs. Schools like Harvard and Yale have excellent newspapers, so you can try to center your focus on writing on the school's newspaper staff. I recently decided to attend MIT after going to Columbia. I figured that majoring in a broader subject such as communications would allow me to focus in on journalism or editing. I am also looking into economics because I want to be an economic journalist. Keep your mind open depending on what you would like to do, but if you want to attend it, Harvard can really assist you.

Take a look at this list below. Think beyond Harvard. It's not even on this list. My school is ranked #9 - KU and it is awesome and not just because I am here. I did a lot of research before I picked it. Plus, you could probably finish your entire degree here for what one year costs at Harvard. Do some research, visit some places, get the info and see what is right for you.

Any university which has a School of Journalism would be good. As an example, check out Columbia's :
