Breaking a mirror is one thing I have never done, and so I couldn't tell you first-hand what really happens when it breaks. I suspect the aftermath includes a washing off of blood, a band-aid to keep the fresh blood from escaping, and a scolding for breaking the mirror... not necessarily in this order...I suspect the scolding would come first.
