don't listen to people that say emo=cutting your wrists. emo is just emotional. the music also doesn't have to be about breakups or screaming, it's just has an emotional meaning. they don't have to wear black all the time, they don't have to be depressed all the time. they're usually just different from everyone else. meaning they might dress different, listen to different music, and just act differently.

emo is short for emotional.

emo person= angry & depressed....cuts there wrists.....wears dark eye make up.

emo music= lyrics that have to do with brake ups...missing someone or etc. For example emo bands are: Hawthorne Heights (one of my favorite bands)etc..
