prehypertension is probly when yr blood pressure is high but not high enough to need medication

Hypertension is high blood pressue. Prehypertension would probably be the stage before hypertension. Your best bet is to ask your doctor if you are concerned about having high blood pressure.

Someone that falls in the category of prehypertension will have pressurs ranging from 120-139/80-90 - anything over 140 systolic or 90 diastolic is herpertensive!

Prehypertension is a new diagnosis stature as of last spring.

Prehypertension is what you get before you really have high blood pressure. Blood pressure around 140 is tending toward too high. This is usually treated with diet, exercise and stress reduction. Diabetes is when the body does not use sugars properly and sugar builds up in the blood and spills over into the urine.
