it depends where you are going for an interview. If you are going for one at a company you should look them up on the internet and find out a little about thier history and read up on them...it will let them know you are interested if you pop out a few facts that you have read on their website...or if they mention something from the website mention to them that you read that on their website. Also ask them about benefits, what is the proper dress code for work.

Let them know your qualities as well as your weaknesses. Look them in the eye when you are talking to them and they are talking to you. sit with your legs together and flat on the floor, don't cross your legs cause people have the tendency to slouch. Put your hands in your lap, don't fold your arms. Bring an extra copy of your resume and referrals with you incase they have misplaced the one they have already seen.

after the interview thank them for meeting with you and ask them when you should be hearing from them. If the person who interviewed you has an e-mail address, send them an e-mail the next day thanking them for taking the time to meet with you and consider you for the open position and that you look forward to hearing from them. Also let them know if they need any further information to please contact you.

You should be great! I know it's a lot of info, but hopefully it's helpful! Good luck

I had a lady come into my office in an expensive suit and a LV hand bag. I dont care what you wear or how good you look. I am not hiring you to look good. So dont sell yourself, sell your job skills. Impress me with what you know, not with what you look like. Tell them what you can do for them. Ask them some questions and by all means know the job you are being interviewed for. The more you know about the company you are going to the interview for the better you will look. GOOD LUCK

Search "best interview questions" on the internet and practice answering questions you might be asked for the type of job you're applying to. Be on time. Dress appropriately. Bring a copy of your resume and a few references. Don't say anything negative about anyone or anything. Just answer their questions as best you can, in a positive and honest manner. Good luck!

first, make sure you dress nice. even if it is for a job where you will be getting dirty, you need to dress nice. first impressions are everything. Also, sound intelligent. Answer what they ask. So many people just start rambling after they've been asked a question and never actually answer it.
Be yourself. If you have a good sense of humor and you can fit it into what you are talking about in a professional manner, do so.
What type of job is it for?

the first thing is presentation: a clean wear, a great smile, and a good shake of hands.

then think about what do you spect from that job, that is something that they will ask, your future spectations, in a year, 5 years, ten years, and if they don't do that question, that will help you to look for a job that you want.

posibly as you first job, they will ask about your capabilities and character. what are you fortess and what your weaknesses, what is a good think of you character that could be attractive to then, and what are the worst things about your character

Be relaxed, and answer according to what they need and what you spect from them.

An very important, search for what that business do. So you'll be able to answer acording to their needs

I took job skills classes and the trick is to maintain eye contact, dress the part and never say the words umm, and well because it will sound like you doubt yourself. let them know you are allways willing to learn something new and allways open to a new challenge.

just relax because at the end of it you will still be alive, its not like your breaking down a house in Iraq and hoping not to get shot at by insurgents.
