Rumor - but a real story is that Lindros got the snot beat out of him for cheating on the wife of a teammate. This was the real reason he got one of those concussions while in Philly.
Then again, it might be bologna. I heard it from a friend and not from an official news source.

Tonya Harding beat the crap out of Stojko. Everything I have ever read about it had Stojko pummeling Lindros in a bar in 1996. The guys idol was Bruce Lee growing up. The venue seems to change from a account to account of the story from a golf outing to a bar. The weird thing was that they were and are still friends. I have heard that Lindros had thrown the first punch and the 5'4 Stojko responded .

I think I heard about this a few years ago. I can believe that Stojko beat the crap out of Lindros because as you mentioned, he has a black belt, and because I'm sure all he had to do was gently push Lindros and he probably got a concussion or something.

The story is true. I wan't there,but my brother was.He didn't get the crap beat out of him,but he did get dropped on one punch. He and a table of buddies were making snide,childish..and loud...comments about the Fa**y skaters at another table.The restaurant was full,lots of families.Elvis went to his table and asked him to keep the comments down,cuz there were lots of kids around. Lindros stood up,pushing against Stojko ( who has a cottage across the river from this place) and took one shot,and the big asshole was on his back. Silence for about 2 seconds,then cheers from everyone in the place. The bigger the dick the harder the fall.
