My baby has the same problem, and i noticed he liked to keep his head turned a certain way. So I will gently take his head and turn it to the opposite side. The doctor said that is the right thing to do and his head should shape itself around 5 months old. My baby was 3 1/2 months when I found this out, he is almost 5 months now and his head has reshaped tons. I can barely even find the flat spot on the back of his head.
If it doesn't round out though, the doctor said they put a helmet on their head that helps shape it properly. So either way, your baby will have a beautiful little round head.
Good luck and I hope the baby's head does it on his own.
Look on the bright side, at least he doesn't have brain damage. That's the way I see it anyway. As long as they are healthy and growing and becoming smart little people, that's all that matters to me.

The back of his head will get round again later, do not worry.
My baby didn't like either to lay on his stomach at first but then I began talking to him in this position, gave him some toys and cuddled a lot. And now, he is 5 month old, he really enjoys to lay that way...

I had the same problem with mine.... You have to make them switch sides and get off the back of there heads so that the flatness will go away......

Yes his head will get flat and he will probably lose his hair in that same place top... you have to think, they lay on their heads alot... you can try holding him and massageing it, it will eventually get back to round again...I would also suggest letting him lay acrossed your lap on his belly and on his side throughout the day too, he will get used to it...
check out the link I provided...

Have the doctor check him out of course. Make sure he spends time on his stomache or side. Even though he hates it and probably screams bloody murder. (put him on his back to sleep though) Spending lots of time in a car seat or swing will do it also. His head should round out again in time. (To get my daughter to do tummy time, I would have to lay down in the floor next to her and talk to her.... she still hated it until she finally learned to crawl)

yes, your baby's head will get round again. Try giving him toys to play with and spend time with him while he is on his stomach. Soon, he will roll over by himself.

get a large pillow and prop him up on it on his stomach he might like that it is soft and comfortable.
it will go back round when he starts getting older if it is not rounder by four months then more tummy time.

It will shape itself. Wouldn't it be cool if we could lay on our stomachs and they would go flat! Don't worry, he'll be ok...
