It's hurricane season, and a bit on the warm side. But.....rates are cheaper and it is not as crowded.

I just got back from the Bahamas on Saturday and can tell you it definitely makes sense to vacation there in the summer.

While all the forecasts called for thunderstorms, of the 7 days we were there, we had beautiful (and very hot) weather for 6 of them. Incredible nights, too. Beautiful, clear and warm water.

Would recommend going in June or July to avoid a greater chance of hurricanes, but I would definitely go back in summer again.

Sure! I've been in the Summer before, just keep an eye on the tropics. It's beautiful year-round.

I went in late june and it was great. Great rates! It was warm to hot during the day and then it usually clouded over in the afternoon and rained a bit.
