I just started my period and my mom knows soo dont go tellin me that i need to tell an adult!! plz, i need some advice about pads, not tampons!!

Well, that Always because they are comfy and they don't bunch up while you are in the middle of class. Go to the store and buy Always pantiliners, overnights, regular pads, and a pack of personal hygeine cloth. That should be all that you need. Just monitor how heavy your flow to find the right pads. If you need help with determining how heavy your flow, talk to your mom. I agree with you though about pads because they are very uncomfortable for a virgin.

I wouldn't use tampons if i were u. I heard that they cause problems if ur not using them right. besides just stick with pads. Tampons would last like 1/2 an hour if it's like ur second day. a overnight pad will last u like 2-3 hours. I would recommend using a pad if u go out a lot. Either way, i recommend using a pad for a while. If you don't like pads cuz of the wings then buy them without wings.

What advice do you need?
Wear a pad for 4-6 hours, depending on how heavy the flow of your period is. (it'll be routine and you'll get used to it.) And if you walk a lot, the ones with wings tend to rub against the legs which hurts like hell, so you might wanna stay away from those.
personally, tampons are more comfortable, and, i feel, more sanitary. but if you dont want to use them then ill shut up.

okay well if you can't do the tampon thing u better relax from the pool once a month in the summer if u know what i mean.
pads are a great start get the ones with wings to fold under your underwear because if u don't they can fold over naturally with no support and leak in your pants.
never wear white and if it's in the summer try skirts in stead of capris
one things for sure always have some in your purse because pads u need to change regularly or else it's like sitting in a pool of your own blood........ EWWWWW!!!!!

I felt exactly the same when I got my period. Well, not exactly the same. I felt embarrased. I think you'll be fine. Just buy pads like 'always' which are comfortable. Also, you can't predict how heavy your flow is so go for the absorbant pads. It's the safest way to avoid any accidents.

I'd go 4 a more expensive pad.tampons hurt so I totally don't use them. I know alot of people like the wings but 4 me they're 2 bulky try a few different kinds till u find what works 4 u. Good luck!

Well with pads your always changing them and you go through at least 8-10 a day on you heavy days just to feel dry.

Always buy panty liners. I havent started mine yet so I dont know what its like. Buy ones made with coton i guess they sound comfy. Look at magazines at the ads and read the ads to see what it has to say. then compare ads to see which oone you think sounds better, then go find those pads! good luck!

it'll take you a couple of times to find the kind you like..
my sister don't like wings...
I love tampons but you will want to stick with pads for a while.
go for Kotex....

the skinny ones are the best from Kotex plus they are good to put in ur back pocket without it bulging out and in bags too...when u go to sleep wear an overnight or else ur gonna paint ur bed.
umm what else u need to kno?
take off the tape, and stick it on. dont flush in the toilet..
dont they have classes for these things in skool?
