I'm 15, and just starting to wear makeup. I'm not sure where to start, from what brand to colors, etc.
I have a natural tan complexion, but I have small patches of uneven color, brown eyes

Brown eyes try black mascara and eyeliner for night
Brown for day
a gold or nude eyeshadow works good all over with a tan
Maybelline is good for mascara
Eyeshadows vary brand to brand Max Factor has a good black that can double as an eyeliner. Maybelline has good silver toned ones and cover girl has good gold toned ones Revlon has wet and dry ones that you can control the intensity by wetting the shadow Invest in a good wide Eyeshadow brush way better than the sponge your colors won't end up muddy.
Lipsticks and foundation I say stay away from Wet'n'Wild the lipstick is to hard and the foundation is too orange. Their lipliners are good though.
M.A.C. is expensive for a teen
Revlon is a good brand for almost everything except I don't like their mascara. I like their creme to powder foundation new complexion it has the best coverage for uneven color.
you also need to know if you skin is oily combination or dry to pick out the right cleanser lotion foundation (from personal experience stay away from Avon clean and clear it makes acne worse try a simple bar of Dove or neutrogena, A Bottle of Witch Hazel for toner and a lotion that has at least an spf of 15

Use a tinted moisturizer preferably Laurer Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 or a clinique tinted moisturizer. That will help even out your skin. For your brown eyes you can wear so many different colors blues, purples, greens, browns, golds, pinks, etc. The best powder shadow is Covergirl Eye Slicks. To enhance your warm complexion you can use warm colors such as gold, bronze, warm browns, and metalics for your eyes. For eyeliner use Chanel precison Eye Definer or Mac eye kohl in black. Use lancome defincils for lenghting or lancome hypnose for volume. For curling your lashes use Maybelline Sky High Curves. Wear peach and terracota shades for blush. If you like powder wear nars or mac blush if you like cream blush wear mac or stila. Try one of mac's powder blushes called Gingerly. Wear lancome juicy tubes or mac lipglosses.

hey, i would stay away from orange- ish make up and focus on natural shades like lighter colors, for foundation go as light as u can with out going too light and never use blush... if u need to darken use a light bronzer. and then for ur eyes i would say cause ther brown like mine i use light colors like very light browns and natural creams the brand of eye shadow i use is called "physcians formula" eye shadow quad
and u should never do dark lips!! ever!! make ur lips as lightpink as possible!! i use a lil coneclar on my lips and then bonne bell's duo gloss and lip color in light pink. hope this helps, if u have any more questions or need any help please email me at preppypageantgirl14@yahoo.com

clinique is a good brand of makeup, it is made especially for sensitive skin and prevents break outs. As far as your complexion, go to the clinique makeup counter in the mall and they can suggest colors for you and help even out your complexion. Hope I could help :D

I love baren minerals. You can get it online but is better to go to a salon or spa that carries the product and let them do a makeover on you and show you which color you need for you skin. A kit last about 3 months and you will love it. I swear by it. Good luck

i like cover girl eye shadow, maybelline eye shadow sucks! <-- it has no color! use water proof mascara, a juicy lip gloss, use a foundation that matches ur skin color, o yeah if u have thick eyebrows i suggest u tweez it off, and be4 applying makeup always make sure ur face is clean and clear, if ur planning on eyeliner don't put on a thick one and dont use the ones that u have to sharpen, i think they r very icky. and be4 u use mascara use the eyelash curler first =) good luck choosing ur makeup!

Well from day-to-day I would stick to 'natural' looks, such as just foundation (for blemishes, spots, imperfections), blush and mascara, then if you're going out somewhere, wear the more heavy stuff like eyeliner, eyeshadow.
